Conclusion

All the aircraft fabric systems listed above will work to give you a nice looking and safe aircraft if you follow their instructions and use their system all the way through.  When I’m asked which system is the best, I can’t answer it directly.  In our shop we normally use Air- Tech™ because I have the most experience with it but we can, and do, use and repair the other systems as needed or per customer requirements.  Asking which system is the best is like comparing the different flavors of Ice Cream, each is good but they are all different. Everyone’s taste is different.  What works for me may not work for you. 

If you want a Wet Look finish then one of the Polyurethane finishes would be best.  If you want a more traditional matte or semi gloss finish, then one of the dope or Poly Tone finishes would work.  If you are sensitized to solvents or odor is an issue then the  Stewart System™ is the one to look at.  The bottom line is that they are all good and they are all different.  The choice is up to you.
